Dining Services always takes applications for the following student jobs:

Student Retail Employment    

 

T•H•E Bakery

If you are interested in gaining additional retail and baking experience, T•H•E Bakery may be just the place for you. Employment in T•H•E Bakery demands great customer-service skills, the ability to work independently, and some knowledge of baking and cake decorating. Prior experience in retail and/or baking is preferred, but not required. These positions fill up fast, so apply early!

If you enjoy working in retail, then Quik Cats may be just the place for you! Quik Cats convenience stores offer numerous benefits:

As a member of the Quik Cats team you may find yourself checking in orders, stocking shelves, making cash-register transactions, preparing pizza, and much, much more. Quik Cats stores are open weekdays from 7:30 A.M. to 1:00 A.M. and weekends from 9 A.M. to 1 A.M., so shifts will vary based on availability and course schedules.

Student Dining Center Employment    

 

Food Production

  • Assist full-time production staff to prepare meals and bakery products.
  • Prior knowledge of food production equipment, techniques, and methods are not required, but are preferred.

Customer Service

  • Prepare cafeteria lines and display cooking stations for meal service.
  • Serve menu items to customers.
  • Swipe student meal cards as they enter the dining facility.
  • Prior customer-service experience is not required, just a friendly attitude and a willingness to work hard!

Custodial/Dishroom

  • General custodial and dishroom duties such as removing used service ware from trays, loading the dishmachines, and sweeping and mopping.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

Storeroom

  • Check in daily orders.
  • Rotate and stock food products as directed by storekeeper.
  • General storeroom custodial tasks.
  • No prior experience necessary.

Student Supervisor in Service and Custodial/Dishroom

  • Lead and direct teams of student employees during meal service or in the dishroom.
  • Prior experience as a Dining Services student employee is required
